Karperdomein De Bleekmeren, located in Sterksel, a small village near Eindhoven, is an aquaculture company in the South of the Netherlands. The Bleekmeren consists of 2 carp ponds and 4 breeding ponds. The original carp lake, also known as De Ronde Bleek, has been around since 2009.
The carp have been fished for here for years, so it is definitely not an easy water. However, the reward if you catch a carp here is extremely large. This water houses the larger carp of the complex up to 30+ kg and we select our stock focused on beauty and build. However, carp of every weight class swim there to ensure the flow to the top. The average weight on this pond is around 14 kg. With maximum depths of up to 10 meters, this is also an ideal water for the winter months.
In 2025, the second pond, the Lange Bleek, will be opened, which is stocked with real Ronde Bleekers. The average weight is much lower here, but the numbers are higher here, up to a maximum of 20 kg. On this water it should be a bit easier to catch a carp. However, this water is a gem and with a maximum depth of 3 meters a good starting water for spring.
Since 2025, the Karperdomein has been managed by Sjef Lemmens and Tim Lomans, who have been involved as volunteers on the sidelines for years. Sjef and Tim will upgrade the Karperdomein to ensure that you can experience the ultimate carp adventure.
