Forgotten Flavours high attract hookbaits, for the carp angler who desires maximum attraction! Starting Forgotten Flavours was simple, I was looking for super buoyant pop-ups that were extremely attractive, something very different from what was available on the market at the time.
Meanwhile, Forgotten Flavours may already sound familiar to some. The high buoyancy, the often extreme, diverse recipes and different diameters and colors, Forgotten Flavours has just about everything for the hookbait freak.
As the name suggests, Forgotten Flavours, we work with old school flavours from what many consider to be the heydays of carp fishing. ‘Hutchinson & Catchum’, the golden label stickers from Solar, the glycerol flavours from Nutrabaits and all kinds of ‘Supasense oil palatants’ from Nash are all products that we work with. Finding these older flavours is often a task, something we do with pride.
NATURALS RANGE
This range consists of 5 different pop-ups which are all completely different. NO COLORING, NO FLAVOURS, NO OTHER ARTIFICIAL PRODUCTS. These hookbaits aren’t round as usual, but they all have their own, unique shape which we have acquired through 3D printed blades, which we have put on rolling tables.
Here are the five different pop-ups:
- Insect, made out of silkworm, insectmeal, black soldier flies, and a couple other insects and worms to finish off.
- Snail, made out of snailmeat and home-made snailpowder which we have added to the mix also.
- Krill, made out of pure, uncut Krill, krillmeal and krill hydrolisates.
- Mussel, made out of pure musselmeat, crushed mussel -shells and extracts.
- Shrimp, made out of pure shrimp meat, gammarus, belachan and natural extracts.
POWER PALATANTS & STIMULATORS

There are 7 different powders, which every carp angler has seen or smelt before in their lifetime.
Undeniable recognisable!
- Milky D+, extremely powerful, taste enhancing and feed stimulating creamy aroma, which will give you flashbacks to the original Milk B.
- S-Mix Extract, for us in Belgium, one of if not the best attractor of all time, extremely popular in the ‘80s and ‘90s but ever since seemed to be Forgotten from the scene until now. The often very recognisable, stingy smell will immediately take you back in time. A proven product no species can resist.
- Juicy Peach, if you’ve in the past worked with the original, Dave Thorpe stuff, our version will definitely please you well. Very powerful. Works very well in combination with a touch of Milk D+ and a hint of Sickly Sweetener.
- Squid & Octopus, remember the old Squid addarome? You’ve just hit the jackpot. Extremely powerful palatable product which you need very little of in your mix.
- Fruit Farm 44, is a mixture of Vanillin and other aldehydes together with mixed esters and lactones. Very powerful, don’t use more than 5g. Dark, deep, berry smell.
- Mulberry, is a lovely flavour enhancer and will replace liquid flavouring completely. It performs very well in combination with our Sickly Sweet Power Palatant. It has a very powerful taste and smell, and is very sweet. We left no stones unturned with our Mulberry, as many of you already know!
- Sickly Sweet, is extremely unique, as it combines Talin with other high intensity sweetening agents to create a ‘Sickly Sweet’ taste and smell which makes this undoubtedly one of the best powdered sweeteners you’ve ever come across. Sickly Sweet improves feed palatability and appeal, will stimulate feeding and is an excellent masking agent if needed be. We have started using this powder since 2020 in most of our products and are very happy with all the results you guys are having with it.

During our first edition of Carp Den Bosch in 2023, we launched our flavour range, which consisted of 9 different flavours. Fast forward to 2025, we have now brought over 50! different flavours to the show, which some of have never been shown before! Come check them out and score some deals.

UNDERGROUND FLAVOUR RANGE x MONKEY CLIMBER
For the 2025 show we’ll bring the ‘Underground Range’ flavours in collaboration with Giovanni Vanhooren, who has been passionately running Monkey Climber for a number of years now.
We bundled our knowledge and created a selective flavour range which no other company can get their hands on, truly an exclusive range!
COLLABORATION x GEERT OOMS
It’s no secret that geertooms.com and Forgotten Flavors get along great. Geert and Dieter largely share the same vision, especially when it comes to product quality, customer service, ethics and loyalty! In that respect, they want to regularly go public together to share their joint efforts with you. For Carp Den Bosch they will do with LTD. Edition pop-ups which are based on the old-school ‘Aniseed & Bunspice’ recipe, including the pot-shots, like in the old days. 😉
